There will be no men's Manchester United players competing at the Paris 2024 Olympics, but the club will have two representatives at the competition from Manchester United Women.
Alejandro Garnacho had widely been tipped to be a part of the Argentina squad at the competition, but Man United are believed to have turned down the request.
As a result, the attacker will have a rest following his involvement in the Copa America before linking up with his club teammates ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.
Leny Yoro, who completed a switch to Man United from Lille on Thursday, is not in the France squad for the competition, meanwhile, with the 18-year-old set to join his new teammates immediately.

Jayde Riviere - Canada Women

Riviere was a part of the Canada outfit that won the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, so the 23-year-old will be bidding to help her side retain the title this summer.
The right-back has also featured in two Women's World Cups, while she has made 23 appearances for Man United Women since arriving at the club from AFC Ann Arbor in January 2023.
"Off we go! So excited to be heading back to a second Olympics. This year hasn't been the easiest for me and to know all that hard work paid off is a blessing," Riviere posted on her personal social media ahead of the tournament.
Canada Women will play in Group A at the Olympics alongside the hosts France Women, Colombia Women and New Zealand Women.
Hinata Miyazawa - Japan Women

The second representative from Man United this summer is Miyazawa, with the midfielder preparing to take part in the Olympics for the first time in her career.
The 24-year-old won the Golden Boot at the 2023 Women's World Cup, finding the back of the net on five occasions, and she will now be bidding to inspire her country to success in France.
Miyazawa scored once in 17 appearances for Man United Women last season, with the midfielder back to full fitness after undergoing an ankle operation towards the end of last year.
Japan Women will compete in Group C at the competition alongside Spain Women, Nigeria Women and Brazil Women.
