Manchester United's Danny Welbeck pleased with Liverpool performance

Danny Welbeck says that he is determined to give his all for Manchester United and will continue to work hard.

Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck has said that he was pleased with his performance against Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Red Devils defeated their Merseyside rivals 2-1 at Old Trafford to remain seven points clear at the top of the table.

"I've got to work hard in the game and when I get my chance to play, I want to show what I can do and try my best for the team," he told United's official website.

"That's the most I can do and I'm not going to give anything less than that."

Welbeck has scored one goal in 16 league appearances for United this season.
