Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck has revealed that he is pleased with the way that he has developed as a player this season.
The 22-year-old has featured on a regular basis for both club and country since last summer.
However, despite having expressed his delight at his progression, the England international has conceded that he must improve his goalscoring return.
"The Euros was a really good tournament on a personal level and it gave me a lot of confidence coming into this season," Welbeck told United Review.
"I think my performances have been more consistent [for United]. I haven't always played in my preferred position but playing in different areas allows you to develop an understanding of the other attacking positions which can only benefit you as a player. The one thing I want to do is score more goals."
Welbeck has scored just two goals in all competitions for United this campaign.
