Nemanja Vidic: 'My heart will always be at Manchester United'

Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic says that his "heart will always be at this club" following his final home game at Old Trafford.

Nemanja Vidic has said that his heart will always be at Manchester United following his final game at Old Trafford.

The defender, who will join Inter Milan this summer, came off the bench during their 3-1 win over Hull City at Old Trafford this evening.

The Serbian told BBC Sport: "It was hard in many ways, because it was my last game at Old Trafford, we did not have a great year as it was my first year not celebrating a trophy. It was a tough season.

"This is maybe the best part of my life. I have three kids, won lots of trophies and have been loved by fans. The fans showed their class when we didn't do well this season.

"I was very emotional. I have to say my heart will always be at this club. I have spent so many years here and been part of such a good time and worked with so many great people."

Vidic moved to the club from Spartak Moscow in 2006.
