Louis van Gaal to sign three-year Manchester United deal?

Louis van Gaal is reportedly on the verge of signing a three-year contract to become the next manager of Manchester United.

Louis van Gaal is reportedly on the verge of signing a three-year contract to become the next Manchester United manager.

The Dutchman will step down from his role in charge of the Netherlands squad after this summer's World Cup, and will take over the vacant managerial position at Old Trafford, according to The Mirror.

Van Gaal will put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him with the champions until 2017, and the contract is said to be worth around £25m.

Ryan Giggs has taken over until the end of the season, following David Moyes's sacking last week.
