Fernando Torres has admitted that he is hopeful Atletico Madrid can persuade Antoine Griezmann to remain at the club, despite strong interest from Barcelona and Manchester United.
The France international contemplated leaving the Spanish capital for Old Trafford in the summer, rating his chances of finalising a move as "six out of 10" at the time.
Atleti were hit with a transfer ban and the in-demand striker instead committed to a new long-term deal, but Barca have since emerged as strong contenders to sign him.
However, Torres has now urged his teammate to consider rejecting both sides and instead continue his career at the Wanda Metropolitano.
"Griezmann is still with us and we have to enjoy him," he told Marca. "Atletico can sign and keep hold of the best players.
"I would love it if Griezmann wants to stay at Atletico. You have to ask him [if he wants to stay], but when he decides to stay, it will be because he wants to."
Atletico are said to have reported Barcelona to FIFA over an alleged illegal approach for star man Griezmann.
