Robin van Persie 'in off-field bust-up with Stoke City's Ryan Shawcross'

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie reportedly has a heated altercation with Stoke City defender Ryan Shawcross following their victory at Old Trafford.

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie reportedly got into a war of words with Stoke City defender Ryan Shawcross following the Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The pair are said to have had a heated exchange in the tunnel during the half-time interval after Shawcross appeared to grab the Dutchman around the neck during United's 3-2 win.

Following the match, it is understood that an altercation between the pair occurred outside the dressing rooms, according to The Express.

United, who came from behind to snatch all three points against Stoke, currently sit eighth in the league table.
