Robin van Persie: 'I can't wait to link up with new Manchester United players'

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie admits he "can't wait" to link up with his side's new signings after the international break.

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has expressed his eagerness to link up with his side's new signings after the international break.

The Red Devils added Radamel Falcao to their ranks on deadline day, to go alongside fellow new recruits Ander Herrera, Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind and Angel di Maria.

Van Persie is quoted as saying by the Manchester Evening News: "I can't wait to go and train and play with the world class players we have signed – wow!

"That feeling, that we are going to perform well has only got stronger after the buying of players over the last weeks. I find it very exciting, the arrival of all those new players.

"For me personally, it's brilliant to go and play with some of the best players in the world. It's great that I can go and train and play with them every day."

Louis van Gaal's side are currently 14th in the Premier League table.
