Former Manchester United captain Bryan Robson has insisted that Ryan Giggs can play into his 40s.
As well as 38-year-old Giggs, who made 33 appearances for United last season, Robson has also claimed that 37-year-old Paul Scholes can play for another three years.
"Both of them are dedicated pros who want to win more things so they will go about it the right way," he told the club's official website.
"I can see especially Ryan, perhaps Paul depending on whether his joints allow him to do it, but I can see Giggsy playing well past 40 just because of the natural fitness of the lad."
United finished second in the Premier League last season.
