Marcus Rashford's career with both Manchester United and England has reportedly been thrown into doubt due to the events of the last week.
The forward did not feature in Man United's FA Cup clash with Newport County on Sunday afternoon, with head coach Erik ten Hag saying during his pre-match press conference that Rashford was unwell.
However, it later emerged that he had been in Belfast earlier in the week and was spotted out on both Wednesday and Thursday evening, before heading back to Manchester on a private jet on Friday morning.
Rashford said that he was too unwell to train on Friday, and he did not make the trip to Newport for the FA Cup fourth-round contest over the weekend.
The nightclub saga has allegedly angered his Man United teammates, and there is now fresh speculation surrounding his future despite only signing a new long-term contract last summer.

Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be considering reigniting their interest at the end of the campaign, with the latest issues potentially leading to Man United having a big decision to make.
According to The Sun, England are 'monitoring the situation', with Rashford's position at this summer's European Championship seemingly on the line.
The report claims that Rashford's career at Man United is also in jeopardy, with the attacker 'fighting for his future' due to fears over his off-the-field conduct.
On Monday evening, the 20-time English champions released a statement confirming that the matter was "now closed".

"Marcus has taken responsibility for his actions. This has been dealt with as an internal disciplinary matter, which is now closed," read a short statement from the club.
Rashford's position with the squad for Thursday's Premier League clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers is unclear at this stage, but Ten Hag is expected to address the situation during his pre-match press conference.
The Englishman scored 30 times for Man United during the 2022-23 campaign, which contributed to him being handed a lucrative long-term deal at Old Trafford last summer.
However, he has only managed four goals in 26 appearances in all competitions this season and has often cut a frustrated figure on the field.
