Paul Pogba looks set to miss Manchester United's Premier League clash with Arsenal on Wednesday, according to a report.

Paul Pogba will reportedly be absent from the Manchester United squad for Wednesday's Premier League clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Having been left out against Burnley on Saturday due to fatigue, it had been thought that the 26-year-old, who has recently recovered from an ankle injury, would be involved against the Gunners on New Year's Day.

The midfielder did not travel with the rest of the United squad to London on Tuesday, though, and according to the Daily Mail, the France international is set to miss the clash with Mikel Arteta's side.

Pogba has featured in two of United's last three Premier League matches against Watford and Newcastle United.

The 2018 World Cup winner continues to be linked with a move away from Old Trafford, although his agent Mino Raiola recently ruled out a departure during the January transfer window.

Scott McTominay is allegedly facing eight weeks on the sidelines with a knee injury, meanwhile, leaving United short of numbers in the middle of the park.
