Gary Neville has revealed that he was "delighted" when Romelu Lukaku left Manchester United earlier this summer.
Despite contributing 42 goals across two seasons at Old Trafford, Lukaku's performances came under scrutiny during the second half of the last campaign.
That eventually resulted in the Belgium international making the switch to Inter Milan, arguably leaving United short of numbers in the final third.
However, club legend Neville has suggested that the Premier League giants can only benefit from the departure of the frontman.
On Twitter, the former defender said: "I'm delighted he's left. I won't be happy till everyone single one of them that think they are better and bigger than the club and don't want to be here are gone!
"Nothing at all about his nationality or him not being a good player. He will always score goals."
United sit in eighth position in the Premier League standings after the first four games of the season.
