David Moyes: "The players are hurting"

Manchester United manager David Moyes tips his "hurting" squad to "respond in the right way".

David Moyes has revealed that his Manchester United players have been left hurt by their recent results.

The Red Devils are without a victory in their last four Premier League matches, which in turn has seen them drop to ninth in the table.

"The players are hurting because they are used to winning. When we don't win, that hurts. They'll respond in the right way," the Scot told reporters ahead of tomorrow's Champions League match against Shakhtar Donetsk.

United have already qualified for the knockout stages of the competition, but a victory or a draw would secure them top spot in the group.
