Jose Mourinho not interested in Manchester United job

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho rules himself out of the running for the vacant managerial role at Manchester United.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that he will remain at Stamford Bridge for as long as the club want him to stay.

Mourinho was one of a number of names to be linked with the Manchester United job after David Moyes was removed from his position earlier this week, but Mourinho has declared that he has no interest in moving to Old Trafford.

Asked being asked if he would consider taking the job, the 51-year-old told reporters: "Of course not. How can somebody think about it?

"I left Real Madrid to come to Chelsea specifically. I signed a four-year contract with Chelsea.

"I told Chelsea that they never have to worry about me because I don't want to leave. I stay as long as the club wants me to stay."

Former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti, who is currently in charge of Real Madrid, has also stated that he won't be making the move to Manchester.
