Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho states that despite the club's quality, Liverpool do still have "weaknesses" ahead of their Premier League clash.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has insisted that Liverpool are a "very good team" but do have "some weaknesses" ahead of the clubs' clash in the Premier League.

Mourinho's United side welcome Liverpool to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon and the Portuguese coach has reiterated that despite the visitors' quality, Jurgen Klopp's men are still not the perfect team.

"Liverpool are a very good team, with some weaknesses. They're not a perfect team, but they're a very good team," Mourinho told BBC Radio 5 live.

"That's why they are where they are. I know my team's weaknesses. Sometimes I hide them, sometimes I compensate for them. But Liverpool is Liverpool, and we are what we are."

Just two points separate the sides in the league standings, where Liverpool find themselves sitting just behind United who occupy second place.
