Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has bemoaned his side's 'sloppy' performance against Watford on Sunday.
The Red Devils missed a number of good chances in the opening 45 minutes, and they were undone in the second half by goals from Ismaila Sarr and Troy Deeney as the Premier League's bottom side recorded just their second win of the campaign.
Speaking to Sky Sports News after the game, the England defender said: "We were sloppy.
"As a team [we] gave the ball away numerous times especially in the first half. I feel the game was there to be won. There were gaps for us but we kept being sloppy with the ball.
"We should have scored in the first half. We've had best chance of the game, we have to score that."
The defeat, United's fifth in the league this season, leaves them seven points off the top four in eighth place heading into Christmas.
