Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has revealed that this pre-season will be an "important" one for him.
The Mexican has only featured sparingly in United's last two summer tours because of international commitments.
However, this time around the 24-year-old has a clear schedule, allowing him to link up with his teammates from the very start of their trip to South Africa and China.
"[Pre-season will] be important and I just want to enjoy it and do my best," he told the club's official website. "I know I need to keep learning - you never stop learning and I want to continue to improve and work hard in order to repay the people that put their trust in me.
"I know I need to be professional on and off the pitch and I want to make sure I am ready for the new season."
Hernandez has scored 32 goals from 81 outings for the Red Devils.
