Javier Hernandez has said that he is content with his role as an impact substitute for Manchester United.

The Mexican striker has scored 29 goals for the Red Devils, ten of which were netted after coming off the bench.

"I just want to help my team. I don't care if I'm on the bench," the 23-year-old said.

"Last year I was on the bench at the start and then I was in the team towards the end of the season. The gaffer has the answers.

"Every player in every team wants to play as many minutes as possible, but I don't care if I start or I'm a substitute. I just want to enjoy it. I am living a dream to play for Manchester United."

United are currently second in the Premier League, two points off leaders Manchester City.
