Ryan Giggs not focusing on long-term plans

Manchester United interim manager Ryan Giggs insists that he is focused solely on the club's final two games of the season rather than any long-term plans.

Ryan Giggs has insisted that he is focused only on Manchester United's next game and not any long-term plans.

The 40-year-old, who took over as interim manager following the dismissal of David Moyes earlier this week, has been put in charge for the Red Devils' final three games of the season.

Despite seeing his side ease past Norwich City 4-0 in his first game at the helm, Giggs insists he is only looking at the remaining fixtures of the campaign.

"Honestly, I'm just looking forward to Sunderland now and that's it," the Welshman is quoted as saying by Manchester Evening News. "That's what my focus is on and my concentration. I'm not thinking any further ahead than that."

"The reception was great. I've walked out of the tunnel many times for big games and that was the best feeling I've had. I felt 10 feet tall and so proud."

United follow up their clash against Sunderland with a home match against Hull City.
