Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has revealed that he rates former teammate Patrice Evra over Liverpool left-back Andrew Robertson.
Given his defensive and attacking contributions for the runaway Premier League leaders, Robertson is regarded as one of the best players in his position over recent years.
However, in a Q&A session on Instagram, Ferdinand has claimed that Evra is a better player than the in-form Scot.
The ex-centre-back said: "I've got to go with Evra, Evra is a better player. He's quicker, stronger. In between the boxes Evra is better as well, can play and move, gets in behind people.
"He didn't have as many assists as someone like Robertson, but he scored more. He was a better one-on-one defender, but Robertson is top drawer, don't get me wrong."
Evra scored 10 goals in 379 outings for United during his career, while Robertson has three strikes from 119 appearances for Liverpool.
