Radamel Falcao has claimed that he benefitted from his loan spell at Manchester United, despite scoring just four goals in 29 appearances.
The Moncao forward was expected to make his move to Old Trafford permanent this summer, but the Premier League giants decided against taking up the option.
Now, it has been reported that Chelsea have agreed to sign the 29-year-old after manager Jose Mourinho publicly vowed to "help" the striker.
When questioned by reporters about his failed United stint, Falcao said: "It depends what criteria you are using. People said I was not on the field and not scoring goals, but today Falcao is a more complete player. The speculation is not true. I am feeling calm."
It is believed that Chelsea will confirm Falcao's arrival at some point this week.
