Dion Dublin: 'Wilfried Zaha must respect surroundings'

Former Manchester United player Dion Dublin says that Wilfried Zaha must show respect to his surroundings to learn at the club.

Dion Dublin has said that Wilfried Zaha must respect those around him at Manchester United.

The winger joined the Premier League champions from Crystal Palace in January, but was loaned back to the Championship side for the remainder of the season.

Dublin, who also joined the Old Trafford side from a lower division club, told the team's website: "What Zaha will have to do is find his feet. He can't go in all guns blazing because you can fall flat on your face against some of the best players in the world.

"Go in, respect what you are around, listen to the people who will teach you to become a better player, take it on board and he will do amazingly.

"I have seen him play several times and I think he is an unbelievable talent and one that needs coaching. He needs to know when to do things, where to do things, how to do it, who to listen to, what to contribute to his team, but I'm sure the manager, [David] Moyes, will do that amazingly and pull him aside. It is not easy to settle in but it can be made easier if you go in with the right attitude."

The 20-year-old scored eight goals for Palace last season.
