Manchester United's David de Gea dispels rumours of dressing room unrest

David de Gea rubbishes rumours that there is unrest in the dressing room at Manchester United.

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has rubbished suggestions of dressing room unrest by insisting that the squad is "very together".

Reports overnight have claimed that two senior players recently questioned Louis van Gaal's tactics.

The team have struggled for firepower of late, scoring 10 goals in their last 12 Premier League games, which has caused Van Gaal to come under plenty of criticism.

Despite reports of unhappiness among the squad, De Gea has claimed that every player is working together to improve.

"There's a great atmosphere," De Gea told Inside United. "The dressing room is very together and united, they are a great set of lads and we're all very happy with the group of players that we have and I think that's really important in a team if it wants to achieve big things.

"I think we have a very young side and I think that the youngsters who are coming up through the youth ranks are fitting in really well."

United are fourth in the league table, six points adrift of leaders Leicester City.
