Senior Manchester United players 'speak out' against Louis van Gaal

A number of senior players reportedly speak out against Louis van Gaal in the Manchester United dressing room.

A number of senior Manchester United players have reportedly spoken up in the dressing room to question Louis van Gaal's tactics.

United are currently on a run of six games in all competitions without a win and although they remain just six points off the pace in the Premier League, fans have been critical of the manager's formations and substitutions in recent games.

According to The Sun, "two senior players spoke up in the dressing room" after the 1-1 draw at Leicester City on November 28, with 'another big name questioning their approach' in the goalless draw with West Ham United a week later.

The newspaper claims that players have complained about the "boring, repetitive" nature of Van Gaal's training sessions, with some suggesting that the methods have caused muscle injuries.

A group of "angry fans" reportedly waited to confront the side after their 2-1 loss to Bournemouth on Saturday but were left disappointed when the team bus drove past them.
