Andy Cole believes that the positive atmosphere around Manchester United has led to an improvement in the club's form this season.
Cole, who serves as an ambassador at the Red Devils, feels that the mood at Old Trafford is more upbeat than when David Moyes was manager last season, as Louis van Gaal has led his team to a resurgence in form over the last month.
He is quoted as saying The Mirror: "I spend a lot of time around the club and it's plain to see that everyone is happier than they were a year ago."
United are third in the Premier League going into their match against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
