Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley admits that he is "buzzing" after making a return from injury.

Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley has revealed that he is "buzzing" after making a return from injury.

The 22-year-old played against Aldershot in the Carling Cup on Tuesday after being sidelined for a month with ligament damage to his foot.

"The injury was bad timing," he told Red View, the club's official newsletter. "I was in the team, I was playing well and enjoying myself. These things happen in football though and you've just got to work hard on getting yourself fit, listen to what the physios say and stay upbeat.

"Things went a little better than I expected at the start of the season and then I was disappointed to get injured, but I'm buzzing to be back now and hopefully we can get back to winning ways on Saturday."

The Red Devils take on Everton at Goodison Park later today.
