Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that he could be missing other players aside from Paul Pogba and Raphael Varane for Saturday's Premier League clash with Watford.
Pogba would have missed out at Vicarage Road through suspension but has also picked up a thigh issue, with the Frenchman currently recovering in Dubai.
Varane, meanwhile, is expected to be on the sidelines until December due to a hamstring problem.
Scott McTominay was forced to pull out of the Scotland squad over the recent international break through illness, while Luke Shaw did not join up with the England squad due to a head injury.
Solskjaer has claimed that he will need to make a late decision on the involvement of those players currently struggling with "illnesses and small niggles".
"This week has been really positive, there are a couple of doubts with illnesses and small niggles. Paul is out for a while, Rapha is out for a while, apart from that players will be coming back in the near future, some this weekend, some in the week, but that's the same for other players," Solskjaer told reporters.
Man United have lost three of their last four Premier League matches to drop down into sixth position in the table, five points behind fourth-placed Liverpool.
