Nick Powell travelling with Manchester United's Under-21s

Having been sidelined since February with a hamstring problem, Nick Powell returns to Manchester United's Under-21 squad.

Nick Powell has been included in the Manchester United Under-21s squad for this evening's clash away at Norwich City.

The midfielder, who has not played for the first team in over a year, has been sidelined since February with a hamstring injury.

However, his presence as a member of Warren Joyce's travelling party bound for Carrow Road has resulted in suggestions that he is now close to returning to full fitness.

The 21-year-old joined the Red Devils from Crewe Alexandra for a reported £6m in 2012 and since then he has made a total of seven senior appearances for the Premier League club.

His contract at Old Trafford is due to expire at the end of the season.
