Robin van Persie makes injury comeback for Manchester United Under-21s

Robin van Persie plays 60 minutes of Manchester United's Under-21s match against Leicester City in his first appearance since picking up an ankle injury.

Robin van Persie has made his comeback from injury in Manchester United's Under-21s match against Leicester City.

The 31-year-old has not featured for the first team since February due to an ankle injury, but played 60 minutes of the match and came through it unscathed.

Van Persie set up Sean Goss's goal as Manchester United drew 1-1.

Jonny Evans also made his comeback following his six-match suspension for spitting at Newcastle United's Papiss Cisse.
