Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag expects to have Rasmus Hojlund, Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka available for Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final with Liverpool.

Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag is expecting to have Rasmus Hojlund, Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka available for Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final with Liverpool.

Hojlund has missed his side's last four matches in all competitions with a muscular problem, while Maguire has been absent from the last three matchday squads due to an unspecified issue.

A muscular problem has also kept Wan-Bissaka out since the middle of January, but Ten Hag said during his press conference on Friday afternoon that the trio are in line to return this weekend.

"We had a good week," the Dutchman told reporters. "All the players you mentioned [Maguire, Wan-Bissaka and Hojlund], they returned on the pitch. Partly in the start of the week and, today, we had a session that they were all training.

"I think [they're going to be available]. We have, tomorrow, one session. We have to see how they recover from this tomorrow. But it looks good."

Ten Hag also said that Tom Heaton was back with the squad after a muscular issue, while Mason Mount has been training "all week" alongside his teammates.

"Tom Heaton is back as well, also very good. Mason Mount trained all week with us, he had some full sessions with us, so it's looking good," added the head coach.

However, Man United do still have a number of first-team absentees, with Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia and Anthony Martial unavailable for selection.

Altay Bayindir has also been ruled out of the clash with Liverpool due to injury, while there remains uncertainty surrounding the fitness of Omari Forson.

"On Sunday we have another good opportunity to get the momentum. I think the players, the team, have shown lately since January onwards we have had a lot of good games with a lot of wins," Ten Hag added when asked about the challenge of facing Liverpool.

"We feel the momentum. I think they have that belief, good confidence and good spirit.

"We are ready and I don't think about the opposition. I respect them, as I do every opposition. We know where their strengths are and where their weaknesses are.

"They are very consistent. They play good football, have very good performances and get very good results."

Man United will enter the clash with Liverpool off the back of a 2-0 victory over Everton in the Premier League, while they drew 0-0 with Jurgen Klopp's side earlier this season at Anfield.
