The FA Cup fifth-round ties that will be televised are confirmed by their respective broadcasters.

The FA Cup fifth round tie between Manchester United and Fulham is one of seven that will be televised.

Earlier this week, the draw for the last 16 was made, it arguably being one of the more underwhelming selection of ties in recent memory for this stage of the competition.

However, the television broadcasters have made their respective choices, with United's showdown with the Cottagers being shown on BBC One on Sunday, March 2 with a 4.30pm kickoff.

Earlier in the day, Newcastle United will play host to Brighton & Hove Albion, that match kicking off at 1.45pm on ITV1.

Plymouth Argyle's reward for knocking out Liverpool in the fourth round is a trip to the Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City.

That fixture will take place on the evening of Saturday, March 1, with the game being featured on ITV4 with a 5.45pm kickoff.

What are the other televised ties?

The first tie of the weekend takes place on Friday, February 28 with Aston Villa playing host to Cardiff City. That has a kickoff time of 8pm.

On the following lunchtime, there is a double-header, with the London derby between Crystal Palace and Millwall taking centre stage on BBC One.

In the North West, Preston North End and Burnley square off in their highly-anticipated derby, the BBC iPlayer showing that fixture at Deepdale.

Nottingham Forest's all-Premier League showdown with Ipswich Town at the City Ground is the final televised tie on ITV4, that taking place on Monday, March 3.

Bournemouth's encounter with Wolverhampton Wanderers is the only tie not to be televised, that game scheduled for 3pm on Saturday, March 1.
