Manchester United, Arsenal FA Cup tie moved to Monday night

The FA Cup quarter-final between Manchester United and Arsenal will be played on a Monday night.

Manchester United will play host to Arsenal in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup on a Monday evening.

The Premier League rivals, who have won the competition more times than any other club, will face off at Old Trafford on March 9, with the tie being screened live on the BBC at 7.45pm.

The broadcaster has confirmed that it will also show the Midlands derby between Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion Saturday, March 7 at 5.30pm.

Liverpool's home encounter against Blackburn Rovers at Anfield and Reading's trip to League One side Bradford City will be featured on BT Sport.
