England manager Fabio Capello and Wayne Rooney will both attend the striker's appeal hearing against his UEFA suspension.
The Manchester United player was given a three-match ban by European football's governing body after he was sent off in England's Euro 2012 qualifier against Montenegro last month.
The suspension means that Rooney would miss all of his country's group stage matches at next year's tournament in Poland and the Ukraine.
Manchester United will be in Switzerland for a Champions League tie against Basel the night before the scheduled hearing which takes place on Thursday, December 8.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has reportedly told Rooney that he will be allowed to accompany Capello to the hearing in nearby Nyon.
