Manchester United and Braga fail to break the deadlock in the opening 45 minutes of tonight's Champions League match in Portugal.

Manchester United and Braga have failed to find the net in the opening 45 minutes of tonight's Champions League match in Portugal.

Both sides struggled to create chances during the first 15 minutes but Braga came within inches of taking the lead midway through the half as Eder's header crashed off the post from Custodio's cross.

Hugo Viana then flashed his shot narrowly wide before Jonny Evans headed straight at goalkeeper Beto from a corner.

Braga had a decent opportunity to break the deadlock with half an hour gone, but Eder could only fire his effort at David de Gea.
