Wednesday's Champions League predictions including Manchester United vs. Atalanta

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Wednesday's Champions League fixtures, including Manchester United vs. Atalanta BC.

Barcelona vs. Dynamo Kiev (Wednesday, 5.45pm)

Still seeking their first wins and first goals of the 2021-22 Champions League, Barcelona and Dynamo Kiev prepare for battle in Wednesday's Group E clash at Camp Nou.

Ronald Koeman's side enter this game on the back of a 3-0 defeat to Benfica on matchday two, while their Ukrainian counterparts were humbled 5-0 by Bayern Munich.

We say: Barcelona 2-0 Dynamo Kiev

With the visitors still stuck with several injury problems and already struggling for goals in European competition, expect Barcelona to finally register their first points of the continental campaign here.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Salzburg vs. Wolfsburg (Wednesday, 5.45pm)

An injury-hit Red Bull Salzburg will endeavour to cement their position atop the Champions League Group G rankings when they host Wolfsburg on Wednesday night.

The Austrian giants managed to claim a 2-1 victory over Ligue 1 champions Lille on matchday two, whereas Wolfsburg were held to a 1-1 draw with Sevilla.

We say: Red Bull Salzburg 1-2 Wolfsburg

Without Adeyemi and Sesko leading the charge, Salzburg have lost a good chunk of their attacking bite and cannot expect to produce another goal-laden performance in Europe this week, even though their inexperience is yet to harm them in this competition.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Benfica vs. Bayern (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Benfica and Bayern Munich will both be aiming to maintain their unbeaten starts to the 2021-22 Champions League when they do battle at the Estadio da Luz on Wednesday in Group E.

The hosts sit second in the group having taken four points from their opening two games, while Julian Nagelsmann's side are sitting pretty at the summit.

We say: Benfica 1-3 Bayern Munich

Already being tipped as early favourites to go all the way in the Champions League, Bayern Munich have been unplayable in almost every game this term but will face their toughest test yet at the Estadio da Luz.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Young Boys vs. Villarreal (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Two sides who are slightly underperforming in the early stages of their respective leagues meet in the Champions League on Wednesday as Young Boys welcome Villarreal to The Wankdorf Stadium.

The Swiss side are currently third in the Swiss Super League - which they have won the past four seasons - and their opponents find themselves in the bottom half of La Liga.

We say: Young Boys 1-1 Villarreal

Villarreal may not be in the best form right now, but they have still lost just once in five away matches this season. Young Boys will test them and have been strong at home, but we are backing Emery's side to hang on for yet another draw.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Man Utd vs. Atalanta (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Manchester United will be looking to bounce back from a string of disappointing results when they take on Atalanta BC in Champions League action on Wednesday at Old Trafford.

The hosts fell to another league defeat to Leicester City at the weekend and sit only third in Group F, whilst their upcoming opponents are top of the group and come into the match on the back of a strong Serie A victory.

We say: Manchester United 2-2 Atalanta BC

There is no head-to-head form to go on between these sides as this is their first meeting in European action, and with both teams blowing hot and cold so far this season it is a tough one to call.

Solskjaer's side experienced all sorts of problems at the back in the loss to Leicester and Atalanta have perhaps found their rhythm, but the home side will have the Old Trafford faithful behind them and know that they cannot afford to lose this game, so we are backing a high-scoring draw.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Lille vs. Sevilla (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Still seeking their first wins of the 2021-22 Champions League, Lille and Sevilla face off at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Wednesday evening in Group G.

Jocelyn Gourvennec's side fell to a 2-1 defeat to Red Bull Salzburg in their last European battle, while the visitors rescued a point in a bad-tempered clash with Wolfsburg.

We say: Lille 1-1 Sevilla

Lille ought to have no problem making the net ripple as David and Yilmaz return to form their prolific partnership, but the confidence in the hosts' camp is not exactly sky-high.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a draw or an away win.

Chelsea vs. Malmo (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Champions League holders Chelsea welcome Malmo to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening for their third game in Group H.

The hosts sit second having won and lost one of their first two games, whilst their visitors sit bottom and are yet to score in the competition.

We say: Chelsea 3-0 Malmo

Chelsea will be confident of making it three successive victories at home to a Malmo side who have looked out of their depth in this year's Champions League to this point, and it may simply become a case of how many the Blues can score.

Our tipster partners are predicting that at least one team will not score (BTTS - no).

Zenit vs. Juventus (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Group H leaders Juventus travel to Russia to take on Zenit St Petersburg in Wednesday evening's Champions League action.

The Italians have a perfect record in the competition to this point, whilst their visitors sit third in the group with one win and one loss.

We say: Zenit St Petersburg 0-1 Juventus

Zenit's two-game losing streak may well become three games, despite home advantage and their determination for a result. Juventus are in great form and, whilst their centre-back partnership may not be as youthful as it once was, they remain as resilient as ever so we are backing a 1-0 away win.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a draw or an away win.
