Pablo Zabaleta has said that Manchester City will give a "great welcome" to new signing Wilfried Bony when he returns from the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Ivory Coast international will link up with the Premier League champions after the tournament, having completed his move from Swansea City earlier this week.
The defender told the club's website: "We will give him a great welcome to the club. We know him very well as a player because we've played against him many times and he always scores.
"The manager and the club have seen his talent and thought it was a good opportunity to bring Bony here, and we wish him all the best."
Bony has scored nine goals in 22 appearances for Swansea this season.
