Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes has said that he is open to joining a club in the Premier League in the summer.
The 32-year-old will leave the Spanish champions at the end of the season when his current contract with the Blaugrana runs out.
"I've always identified with your (English) football, the way the supporters live the game and the respect they show they players," the Daily Mail quotes him as saying.
"It is one of the biggest leagues in the world, with the best clubs in the world and, without doubt, it's a very good option for me."
The same newspaper has claimed that Manchester City are interesting in signing Valdes.
