Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has claimed that the Eastlands club need two more players if they are to challenge the very best teams in Europe.
Mancini is keen to further bolster his squad following the £38m signing of Sergio Aguero from Atletico Madrid on Thursday, according to The Sun.
"Sergio is another striker, a young one. We need a player like him and he can make a difference," said the City manager.
"But if we want to compete with the other top teams at home and in the Champions League, we will need other players.
"We are working on this. We need someone in the middle and the right wing. One midfielder and one winger."
Arsenal's Samir Nasri has been linked with a possible move to City, while Inter Milan's Samuel Eto'o could join in a part-exchange deal with Carlos Tevez moving to Italy.
Manchester City and Inter Milan are both in Ireland ahead of the Dublin Super Cup competition.
