Porto will reportedly not push ahead with plans to re-sign Eliaquim Mangala from Manchester City because of concerns over his physical condition.
The France international recently emerged as a rumoured target for the Primeira Liga giants, who had him on their books between 2011 and 2014.
Portuguese newspaper A Bola claims that Porto have now decided to look elsewhere for a new central-defensive option, though, as they are unsure whether the 28-year-old can return to peak fitness.
Mangala picked up a serious knee ligament injury while on loan with Everton in February 2018 and has not played first-team football since.
Porto were supposedly asked to pay £42m for the defender - £8m more than they sold him to Man City for five years ago - and they do not consider that a wise investment given his injury issues.
