Manchester City attacking midfielder Samir Nasri has admitted that he would like to open talks with the club over a new contract as he would love to stay.
Nasri said that as a player his ambition is to win the Champions League, but does not see why he cannot achieve that goal with the Citizens.
"Talks? I know that they are planned," he told L'Equipe. "The officials called my agent to tell him we have to talk. Then, we will see.
"The objective is to win the Champions League in a few years' time. But when you are happy somewhere, I can't see why you should have to change scene."
Nasri joined City from Arsenal in 2011.
