Al-Wasl manager Diego Maradona has ruled out a move for Carlos Tevez after he said that the striker was too expensive.
Tevez's future at Manchester City remains unclear after he allegedly refused to come off the substitutes' bench during his side's Champions League game against Bayern Munich.
Blues boss Roberto Mancini said that the forward was "finished" at the Etihad Stadium, and it would now appear he will not be moving to Dubai to team up with the man who has managed him at international level for Argentina.
"Tevez is very expensive," Maradona told Sport 360. "He will cost a lot of money and right now we have a budget for around 5% of the fee he commands."
City resume their Premier League campaign on Saturday when they entertain Aston Villa.
