Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has hinted that he is frustrated by the lack of transfer activity at the Etihad Stadium this summer.
The Italian boss has suggested that the club's football director Brian Marwood needs to move faster in the transfer window as the Premier League champions have yet to clinch a new player this summer.
"Speak to the man in charge," said Mancini. "I am not in charge of [transfers]. It is important to get players quickly because, after what we did last year, we must continue to win."
While City have yet to dip into their transfer fund, they have been heavily linked with a move for wantaway Arsenal striker Robin van Persie.
