Manchester City are reportedly weighing up a move for Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish.
The 24-year-old, who still has more than three years left to run on his contract at Villa Park, has scored eight times and registered six assists in 22 appearances for Dean Smith's side during the current season.
Villa will seemingly find it difficult to keep hold of the attacker beyond the end of this summer's transfer window, though, with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur said to be admirers.
According to Metro, City have now joined the race for the Englishman, who impressed head coach Pep Guardiola when the reigning champions faced Villa in the Premier League back in October.
The report claims that the attacker 'is under serious consideration' by the Citizens, with Guardiola expected to be handed significant funds to improve the squad at the end of the season.
Grealish has scored 23 times in 168 appearances for Villa in all competitions.
