Manchester City are reportedly tracking Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Weigl.
According to The Mirror, City boss Pep Guardiola wants a new midfield player in his team and is keen on the 22-year-old.
The newspaper adds, however, that Dortmund are only willing to accept offers above the £40m mark for the German international.
Weigl started out as a teenager at 1860 Munich, and has forced his way into the Germany national team after impressing since his move to Dortmund in 2015.
The midfielder has amassed over 130 senior appearances in his career to date.
