Manchester City are reportedly planning to launch a bid of around £10m for Leeds United teenager Sam Byram.
The fee will be worth around £6m upfront with add-ons taking the deal up to the £10m mark, according to the Daily Mail.
It is thought that the champions would be willing to allow the 19-year-old to go back to Elland Road on loan to continue his development with the Championship side.
Mancini was said to have been impressed with the youngster when Leeds visited City in the FA Cup in February.
