Manchester City are reportedly keeping tabs on Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina, should a deal for Jorginho fail to materialise.
City, who have had one bid rejected for Napoli midfielder Jorginho, are allegedly in fresh talks with the Serie A outfit to try to finalise a deal.
According to the Daily Mail, however, Lemina is also on City boss Pep Guardiola's radar as an alternative to the Italian international.
Lemina joined Southampton from Juventus in 2017 and made 25 Premier League appearances last season, scoring one goal and assisting another.
The 24-year-old has also scored twice in 11 international caps for Gabon.
