Napoli winger Ezequiel Lavezzi is understood to have turned down a move to Manchester City in order to join Paris Saint-Germain.
City boss Roberto Mancini had expressed an interest in the 27-year-old, with a number of players expected to leave the Premier League champions this summer.
The Argentine is now close to signing a £21m deal with the Ligue 1 club that would seem him receive around £77,000 per week, according to The Sun.
Lavezzi scored 10 goals last season as Napoli finished fifth in the Serie A table.
