Karim Rekik on verge of Marseille switch

Manchester City's Dutch international Karim Rekik agrees a deal to join Marseille.

Manchester City defender Karim Rekik has agreed a deal to join Marseille, subject to passing a medical.

The 20-year-old joined the Citizens in 2011 but has made just one senior appearance for Manuel Pellegrini's side.

He spent the last two seasons on loan with PSV Eindhoven, where he made 54 appearances, and made his debut for the Netherlands in 2014.

Marseille, who finished fourth in Ligue 1 last season, have already signed Georges-Kevin Nkoudou from Nantes and goalkeeper Yohann Pele from Sochaux this summer.
