Manchester City have reportedly been given a boost in their attempt to sign Joao Cancelo as Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri has sanctioned the full-back's sale.
The Citizens have strengthened in holding midfield this summer with the arrival of Rodri for a club-record fee and a new right-back is now believed to be top of Pep Guardiola's list of priorities.
Cancelo has been regularly linked with a switch to the English champions in recent months and, according to TuttoMercatoWeb, Sarri is happy for the 25-year-old to leave.
However, the report indicates that City also face competition from Bayern Munich and Barcelona for the Portugal international's signature.
Juventus signed Cancelo from Valencia in a £35.5m deal last year and he made 34 appearances in his debut season.
