Manchester City talisman Erling Haaland has reportedly ruled out moving to one particular European superpower if he was to leave the Premier League champions in the near future.
The Norway international has been nothing short of a revelation since moving to Manchester in 2022, donning the kit that his dad Alf-Inge Haaland also wore over two decades ago.
Haaland broke the Premier League single-season scoring record in his first year under Pep Guardiola, before making it back-to-back Golden Boot triumphs during the 2023-24 campaign.
Another outrageous start to the 2024-25 season has seen the 24-year-old come up with 11 goals from just 10 games in all competitions, including 10 in seven Premier League contests as he continues to shatter records left, right and centre.
Haaland - who also recently became the highest male scorer in Norway's history - still has a contract with the Citizens until 2027, but he has inevitably been linked with moves to a host of other revered European clubs amid his sensational exploits.

Real Madrid's name has often been brought up in conversations, as Los Blancos were eyeing Haaland as a long-term successor to Karim Benzema before the Scandinavian opted to follow the same path as his dad.
In recent weeks, Barcelona have been tipped to make an audacious move for Haaland as they plan for life without Robert Lewandowski, and PSG have also been credited with an interest after Kylian Mbappe's departure to the Bernabeu.
However, according to El Nacional, Haaland has no interest in making the move to the Ligue 1 champions, despite their offer of a lucrative multi-million pound contract.
The former Borussia Dortmund and Red Bull Salzburg starlet has supposedly 'made it clear' that his long-term future does not lie at the Etihad, but he is targeting a more 'ambitious' destination than the Parc des Princes.
Instead, all the signs are said to be pointing towards Haaland making the move to the top flight of Spanish football, and he has made it his 'priority' to end up in La Liga, where he feels that he can continue to develop better than in Ligue 1.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is apparently dreaming of partnering Haaland with Mbappe in the Blancos attack, and the Champions League winners would be prepared to make major financial sacrifices to acquire his services.
However, Barcelona sporting director Deco is hopeful that the Blaugrana can lure him to Catalonia with the promise of a better sporting project, as Hansi Flick's side are currently three points clear of Real at the top of the La Liga table.
Haaland took just 105 games to reach the 100-goal mark for Man City, and his total for the Premier League champions now stands at 101 efforts and 14 assists from 108 matches in all tournaments.
If the Norway international does end up seeking pastures new in the summer transfer window, Man City could reportedly target a fellow Scandinavian as his long-term replacement.
